The following works comprise an exploration of a location that once served purpose for military training and since has been decommissioned. The photographs render a relationship to the tableaux, encouraging the viewer to embark on a potential emotional response to the topographic elements within the frame. These stark yet dark images challenge the documentary approach by layering minimalist sensibilities inspired by aesthetics. Architecture, Environment, and History form the basic poles when thinking about how one makes a disconnection from traditional pictorialism. Together, these photographs represent a gathering of moods and curiosities.
